Article 2. What personal data does DIAMANT COHORT collect, for what purpose and during what period?

 

2.1 Personal Data.

 

2.1.1. Type of data In the context of your participation, the following personal data will be processed:

 

  1. a) first name and last name

 

  1. b) gender

 

  1. c) zip code number

 

  1. d) username (email address)

 

  1. e) encrypted password

 

2.1.2 Purpose of the processing DIAMANT COHORT processes the personal data referred to in sub 2.1.1 for the following purposes:

 

Anonymous statistical research. Aggregated and anonymized data can be used for scientific research or statistics by ourselves or by third parties. This aggregated and anonymized data can never be traced back to you as an individual.

 

2.1.3 During which period will the personal data be processed.

 

DIAMANT COHORT processes and stores your personal data for the duration of your use and up to a maximum of one year after your use of the contact form and registration for the newsletter of DIAMANT COHORT.

 

After the aforementioned retention period has expired, DIAMANT COHORT will immediately destroy and/or anonymise the personal data, unless it is obliged by law (for example under tax law) to retain certain personal data for a longer period of time. In the latter case, this specific personal data will be retained for the statutory retention period.

 

Article 3. Security measures and processors.

 

DIAMANT COHORT has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. This protects your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. DIAMANT COHORT uses the services of third parties, so-called processors, for the processing of personal data. These processors only process the personal data on behalf of DIAMANT COHORT. DIAMANT COHORT has concluded a processing agreement with the processors in which the processor is obliged to comply with all obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act (GDPR), the European General Data Protection Regulation and this Privacy Policy.

 

Article 4. Right of inspection, removal, questions and complaints.

 

DIAMANT COHORT will always process your requests immediately and inform you immediately, and in any event within one month of receipt of the request, about the action that DIAMANT COHORT has taken on the request. If DIAMANT COHORT does not grant your request, it will always explain this in more detail. In addition to the foregoing, you can also view, change or delete your personal data via your own account.

 

If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data, you can also contact us by e-mail. DIAMANT COHORT will handle the objection without delay, and in any case within one month after receipt thereof, and delete the relevant personal data, unless it is required by law to retain the relevant personal data. If the latter is the case, DIAMANT COHORT will inform you of this.

 

If you have complaints about the way in which DIAMANT COHORT processes your personal data or handles your requests, you can contact us via info@diamant.amsterdam. If this does not lead to a solution, you can of course always use your right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or to appeal to the competent court.
